A lot of people get hurt or die in firearm accidents. Many occur while cleaning or playing with guns.

The accidents are totally avoidable if a few precautions are taken.

Children are curious - always keep firearms under lock and key!
Be sensible - don't look down the barrel of an assembled gun while cleaning it.
Don't point a gun at another person, even as a joke.
Treat all guns as if loaded.
