6. Never climb, step, walk, or ride on a conveyor.
7. Keep loads within the conveyor’s posted limits.
8. Notify other workers in the area before starting a conveyor.
9. Never reach into conveyor mechanisms to try to fix a jam or remove a stuck item.
10. Avoid wearing loose clothing and tie back long hair that could get caught in a conveyor’s moving parts.
11. Wear sturdy shoes to work around a conveyor.
